I think Leo and others are getting paid to push these start ups... they really gave twitter a big push and I doubt they did it unless there was $ involved
@zerzhul: Vastly? Leo is no god... he's just another person - if he wanted to switch he could simply switch... why the need to announce it to the world? I think it was a lame move
@adamskee: I agree Jaiku doesn't feel at home.. the community isn't nearly as interesting as twitter. I actually like the simplicity of twitter better - and it has a much nicer name. :)
@manatee: no, he is not a "god", but through many years of following his work on TechTV and TWiT, I have come to an understanding that Leo tells it like it is. If you were familiar with his vast range of podcasts on different technology topics, you would know that he doesn't take early delivery of new products, and he doesn't deal with PR folk of different companies. What's great is that he can relate to the end user of these products because he uses them from that point of view. I think that your accusation that he takes money to push these startups is absurd, and that you are a frustrated developer that is upset that your idea isn't being talked about.

@manatee: I think you vastly underestimate Leo's integrity.

I agree zerzhul, i can't speak for leo but i'm sure he is just another tech junkie like all of us and likes to experiment with new technologies.
